About Your Mobile Vet

Dr Sinead has been caring for Tasmanian pets and their owners for the past decade.

Although she originally dreamed of becoming a large animal veterinarian, her career took her down the path of companion animal practice. Over the last ten years, she has developed a wealth of knowledge and experience caring for dogs and cats, with special interests in feline medicine and emergency medicine. While small animal practice remains a passion, she is excited to be broadening her horizons and returning to her long-held interest in sheep, goats and alpacas through further professional development and mobile veterinary services.

Dr Sinead is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care tailored to the needs of each individual patient and family. She believes that every animal deserves excellent care and works closely with clients to find practical and achievable treatment options that fit their circumstances.

As a mobile veterinarian, Dr Sinead enjoys bringing veterinary care directly to her patients, where they are often most relaxed and comfortable. Mobile practice allows her to provide a more personalised experience, improve access to veterinary care for rural communities, and offer flexible appointment times, including weekends. It also combines two of her favourite things: helping animals and exploring Tasmania's beautiful countryside.

Outside of work, Sinead loves spending time with her family and hiking new trails.

Known for her kindness, compassion and understanding, Dr Sinead strives to build lasting relationships with both pets and their owners, ensuring every visit is a positive and supportive experience.
